19th Century Medicine

Background-Rapid industrialization and urbanization provided a fertile ground for the spread of disease during this period. Poverty, cold weather, lack of decent sanitation, and living in crowded conditions worsened this never-ending cycle of epidemics. These conditions provided the basis of a medical revolution during the 19th century.
The quiz asks questions relating to the treatments utilized as well as questions on the pivotal figures and events associated with 19th century medicine. I must warn you that the quiz is lengthy. As always, good luck.
