50 Quick Stress Cures (1 thru 10)

Stress comes from everywhere: work, family, friends enemies, money, health, etc. according to surveys by the American Psychological Association. The key to dealing with stress isn't so much what is affecting you, but rather, how you react to it. If you overreact to any of these factors, your stress response is set off and hormones such as adrenalin and cortisol are released, initiating the physical and emotional biplay of the "fight or flight" syndrome. Sometimes, a fast fix is just as effective, or even better than a complicated stress-reduction program. From the April 2008 issue of Ladies' Home Journal, here are some simple speedy actions you can take to feel calm and collected when stress nears.

These are the first ten stress cures they listed, and I'll follow up with the 40 others in subsequent quizzes.

I mean it was very clever but I failed. Failed! I would say it is the computer's fault or the fact that you are sure to be American or that I haven't had time to have breakfast, or that I am a full time carer, or that I am old. However I am going out today to have lunch in the Yarra Valley of Victoria Aust. for a fine meal and a glass of red which beats science for the relief of all stress levels.
