Childhood Poems of Long Ago, the Sequel
![]() |
Although I didn't have multitudes flocking to take my first quiz on this topic, I did receive some very kind compliments. These are all beloved poems from my childhood, so I thought I'd share a few more with those who enjoy this type of quiz. Once again, I'll give you a snippet of a poem, you choose the author. Happy Trails!

o my goodness that was impossible for me, but, very good and educational
You just gave me shivers. When I was little I had "Child's Garden of Verses" and one of the poems was The Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat. The illustration was so scary to me as a kid, that I made my father cover the page with masking tape so I couldn't see the picture! I'd forgotten all about that till now.
Interesting, but I knew absolutely nothing about the
poets...yikes.
