Computer Geekless Quiz
![]() |
OK, you are not a geek in a world where geeks know neat stuff. The new net technology has made it possible to carry a small computer that uses the resources of the net with a low priced box that is actually portable rather than lugable. Clearly with 10 million shipped in 2008(according to the market research firm IDC) this style can compete with laptops and souped up cell phones so more and more folk have a portable Dick Tracy device. This quiz asks questions about the terminology and features used in this growing business where everyone should at least be able to hold a conversation. For example: if a friend says he is doing something you can't understand on his iphone did he say: twisting, twirling or twittering? If you knew Chubby Checker and had a hula hoop, you will probably know which answers were wrong. But ... can you twitter, or are you wedged in Windows on your desk top trying to cut and paste? This quiz is for those that want to keep up, and is accurate as of July, 2009!

WOW! I loved learning some of this information. I might be able to understand what my kids are talking about now. Thank you so much for creating this quiz.
Oh, thank goodness! I'm not completely mired in the 80's. Very nice quiz.
