Famous Knuckleball Pitchers

|A knuckleball is a pitch in which the baseball has minimal spin on it. The air catches hold of the stitches on the ball more easily, causing a more unpredictable movement of the ball as it heads & bobs toward the batter. The knuckleball is thrown by gripping the ball with the thumb, index finger, and middle finger, while resting the thumb on the bottom of the ball. The tips of the index and middle fingers grip the top. When the ball is released, the pitcher flicks the ball out of his hand. Now, if a pitcher can excel at it, his career can extend a few more seasons, since the pitch doesn't require great arm strength. |
The pitchers in this collection are by baseball expert Rob Neyer's definition, any pitcher "who would not have been in the majors without his knuckleball, or whose knuckleball was considered his best pitch, at least for a time."
Every pitcher in the choices below is noted for being a knuckleball pitcher. But only one fits the specific question.
