Famous Tunes in Sight Singing Syllables (Do Re Mi)
![]() |
Everyone who has seen The Sound of Music (I think I'm on my 30th viewing, personally) knows that each of the notes of the scale has a particular syllable associated with it. In this quiz, I give you the opening notes of the melody or chorus using these syllables, and you identify the tune from the choices provided. Clear your throat, and let's begin!

great fun but too tough for me!
This was fun to do. I think I did pretty well. The little girl in the sound of music was right when she said, "but it doesn't mean anything"
Fun idea for a quiz! I think the standard version of the Londonderry Air starts with Ti Do Re Mi rather than Sol Do Re Mi, though. Thanks
