Find a Hidden Pro Sports Team in Each Sentence
Billkozy on 03/18/2015
|The gimmick is easy: Each question will be a simple sentence that has a pro sports team name hidden in plain sight within it. For instance in the sentence "It's worth a million dollars" the hidden pro sports team mascot is LION as in the Detroit Lions: "It's worth a milLION dollars"|
Easy right? But in order to avoid listing the answer in the multiple choices, I will list a choice of leagues and you have to choose the league that the hidden team is in. Otherwise there'd be no challenge to simply looking at the multiple choices and matching which one is obviously in the sentence. This way the word play will be combined with a bit of sports trivia knowledge.
So in the example above for instance, the question would look like:
"It's worth a million dollars"
and the choices would be:
MLB (Major League Baseball)
NFL (National Football League)
NHL (National Hockey League)
NBA (National Basketball Association)
CFL (Canadian Football League)
You would of course choose NFL because the Detroit Lions are in the NFL.
