Hey, I've Got An Idea

I have a theory about ideas. I think that they're sentient beings that implant themselves into our brains and feed off the electrical energy used when we think about them. Once you get an idea if you don't "do something" with it the idea will move to another host until it finds someone who will "run with it", thus letting the idea feed. OK, if we were talking in person this is where you'd start slowly moving away from me or at least be giving me a funny look. That's alright, I'm used to getting funny looks, I have teenagers. This quiz is about ideas and the people who ran with them. I'll give you a concept or invention and you tell me who's responsible for it.
