Mnemonics, the Sequel

m48ortalM48ortal on 02/04/2009

MnemonicstheSequel Photo Mnemonics help us remember things. Have I already said that? Our first quiz presented ten popular memory aids; this one will provide another ten. I'll give you the mnemonic, you choose the subject it best fits. One mnemonic that we sometimes see actually serves as a memory aid in two fields. The Roman numeral MDCLXVI uses every Roman numeral in descending order, and it also represents 1666, the year of the great fire of London. Some students write that date as it appears in this drawing, symbolizing how the fire spread from home to home. Good luck. If you'd like an explanation of any of the mnemonics, just drop me a comment.
