In younger days, I thought baseball was the greatest game in the world - nine innings, no shot clock, no flags, 4 balls, 3 strikes, 3 outs per inning. There were absolutely, positively, no summertime blues for me and my buddies!

MLB in the '70s had two divisions per league, six teams per division, 24 teams combined in the AL and NL. That is, until 1977 when the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners joined the AL. Oh, BTW, the '71 Washington Senators wore Texas Rangers’ caps in '72.

Again, just read the names and/or nicknames of the baseball people, all of whom are associated with a given team in a given year, and name their team.
