My Mother's Old Recipes

buchananBuchanan on 10/22/2009

trivia quiz These quizzes are in memory of my mother. They are old but I think you will recognize what it is by the ingredients. My mother would be 105 yrs young if she were living. I wanted to do something for her in her honor. We grew up on a farm and lived off the land. She loved to cook and as the expression goes, "she cooked enough for thrashers!"
#1 Pies. The recipes are written just as she wrote them. Hope you enjoy this and please rate.

Oldies but goodies... Mom's recipes are always the best! I'm going for #1 and #10...ingredients I don't have on hand are on my grocery list! My neighbors are always happy when I bake... I dare not leave an entire dessert in my kitchen! (The details of the recipes surely took time to type! )

To misquote Winston Churchill: two peoples separated by a
common language, and a wildly different cuisine.
