Pit Bulls: Not the Bad Guys You Think They Are!

Stereotypes are not fair, and as an owner of American Pit Bull Terriers, I think these dogs may have it the worst. My boys are loving, spoiled, and beautiful. They sleep with us every night, and go on almost all of our vacations. We take them to the park, and when people say, "Wow, what beautiful dogs," we are proud to say they are pit bulls. How much do you know about this breed? Hopefully, this quiz will teach you a thing or two about these beautiful animals. And you don't have to send me messages about how they turn on people, etc. I've heard it all. :)

excellent quiz........excellent breed..... I have had pits for 30 yrs
I didnt do great on this quiz which amazed me cause Ive raised pitbulls for ten years and done a bit of research. I LOVE LOVE LOVE pitbulls, have three sons and they all love eachother, my dogs have always been hyper but gentle. AND have you ever looked at your pitbull and not felt like you could see into his soul? They have life in their eyes. I have tried this with many breeds and get it the most with bitbulls. Thanks for the quiz and I agree with all you said too.
Are you sure Petey from the Little rascals was a pitbull? I always thought he was a mixed breed. He seemed way too tall to be a pitbull (of course the kids were very short haha).
I didn't do very well on the quiz, but you didn't have to convince me either. My dog is a "take this puppy or he's going to the pound" off the street 1/2 lab and 1/2 rottweiller and the best huge puppy in the world. Very tame. The only thing he attacks is the trash, the kitten (jean claude) - he thinks jean claude is running away so he brings him back - gently - and he attacks the neighbors newspapers and brings them to my door - he was taught to bring me mine, now he's a kleptomaniac! Pit Bulls were once America's Family Pet.
One of the sweetest dogs I ever knew was a pit bull named Chips. I agree that it's bad owners who make bad dogs of any breed.
