The Thirteen Children of Jacob

tazfanltTazfanlt on 07/27/2009

trivia quiz Do you know how many children Jacob had? People who read the Bible knows he had twelve sons, but is that all he had? See if you can find out.

---Here's the Story---

When Jacob ran from home to escape his brother Esau's wrath, he was advised by his mother to go live with her brother Laban. When he got there, he fell in love with his cousin Rachel (it was an accepted practice at this time). So Jacob worked for seven years to earn Rachel, but instead Laban tricked Jacob and he ended up marrying Rachel's older sister, Leah, so Jacob worked seven more years for Rachel.

Jacob loved Rachel more than Leah, and when God saw this, he made Rachel barren, but Leah was able to bear children.

A quiz about their characters or incidents that happened to them would be much more interesting than their birth order.
