Trickster's US Presidential Caucus 1789-2012
![]() |
Welcome to Trickster's U.S. presidential archive! Peer into the Caucus; A caucus derives its meaning from 'smoke-filled room'- where the electoral college chooses a new president secretly. So, you, too, must CAREFULLY elect the right president's surname hidden in each paragraph 'collective ballot' you read. Look carefully- and closely- for both the surname and his matching fact. Only one correct answer exists. Elect the right candidate below. Find him. Ballot# 9. There has been a rift in mangement about hiring Ken Macha as the Brewers' new manager. Ken, Ned Yost, and the Milwaukee Brewers management have been the media's whipping boy, bearing the collectively ill sentiment the team and its fan base has harbored over since 2008. Until they found Macha, upper management appointed Dale Sveum as the interim manager. In spite of the firing-and-hiring controversy, rocky pre-starts can indeed have promising beginnings. If the adage 'the Calm before the Storm' has any bearing in this story, it's the Brewers' performance post-replacement. While the Brewers have yet to reach the Post Season under their new manager, they enjoyed a balanced season- under a cool-headed man, winning 80 regular season games. The change at manager is a choice that has upper management- and fans alike- toasting to a new direction for their franchise: upward bound. a) 10th US President; annexed the Republic of Texas in 1845 b) 5th US President; professed Doctrine of the same name-his surname c) 11th US President; former president Tyler hated him d) 35th US President; took part in the Cuban Missile Crisis e) None of these Hidden President: Kennedy After looking through the choices FIRST, then for hidden name SECOND, you elect '35th US President; took part in the Cuban Missile Crisis' as your best answer. Not all of the 'ballots' will be as easy to 'elect' from. So...how many U.S. presidential gems can you uncover? This isn't a Presidential Race; it's an 'election', so take your time to make the right choice for President! Use Due Process of Law- but if you err, relax. Unlike real life- if you elect the wrong president, you don't have to put up with him for the next four years!
