Walking the length of the UK is a popular pastime amongst (some) Brits.
We're talking about the mainland of Britain, from John O' Groats in the far north-east of Scotland down to Land's End in the extreme south-west of England.
Depending on the route taken, it can total some 1,000 miles and take maybe 10 weeks.
Obviously, therefore, the walk encompasses so much of Britain's geography, history, culture (and whatever else!).
